The Future of International Criminal Law in Africa.
Among the biggest challenges the International Criminal Court faces today is how to maintain a delicate balance between ending impunity and negotiating transitions to peace. This one-day workshop will explore the complexities of international law in Africa as it relates to the ICC, African Union, and UN Security Council's inter-related and divergent relationships. It also explored issues concerning the future of peace and justice in Africa.
Participants include our own Visiting Scholar Dr. Kamari Clarke!
