I am interested in the culture, history, languages, and archaeological heritage of Greater Iran – a region that includes not only Iran itself, but also the southern Caucasus, parts of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. I have participated in archaeological expeditions to Hungary, Oman, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, and Naxçivan (Azerbaijan).
