Research Interests
Celina de Sá is a doctoral candidate in Cultural Anthropology and Africana Studies. Her research interests focus on artistic communities in the black Atlantic diaspora, postcolonial theory and African history. Her dissertation project concerns the performance of violence and transnational community building in a network of West African capoeira schools.
