I am an archaeologist whose primary interests are the intersections between cultural heritage, development, and local communities in Egypt. I also have research interests in the social, economic and historical perspectives of the trade in illicit antiquities across the Middle East.
I undertook my undergraduate and graduate degrees at University College London’s Institute of Archaeology, concentrating on the archaeology of the Middle East and North Africa.
